My hutch, Woodstock, Vermont.
This work was inspired by my wife’s homemade salad dressing which is better than all the store bought ones. Three tablespoons of virgin olive oil, one tablespoon of champagne vinegar, whisped with a teaspoon of Grey Poupon dijon mustard and two crushed cloves of garlic and juice from half a lemon.
The ingredients make a wonderful still life on the baker’s hutch in our kitchen. The hutch unifies the composition allowing the eye to travel across it enjoying the rich color of the salad and dressing ingredients. The paper version of this can be printed with the recipe at the bottom.
All prints are gallery-wrapped with a 1-inch medium-grey gallery wrap with hook and wire, ready to hang. Please call or email us to custom-order a different thickness or color.
